Target Group
The Benchmarking is aimed at universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education in Switzerland.
Your advantages
The St.Gallen Diversity Benchmarking for institutions of higher education analyses the following diversity dimensions:
- Gender
- Age
- Nationality
The analysis will provide you with a clear definition of your current D&I standing as a prerequisite for the implementation of equal opportunities. In comparison with other institutions of higher education, strengths and weaknesses become visible. In the process, comparisons are made within your own type of higher education institution, but also between different types of higher education institutions. The identified need for action and corresponding recommendations enable you to take concrete measures. With your commitment, you also serve as a role model for your students, who will carry the topic forward in their future endeavors (companies, further education, etc.).
Outcomes
You will receive a report that compares you with all the institutions of higher education. The individual organisations remain anonymous. In addition, there is an evaluation that summarises the main findings and trends for each type of higher education institution (universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education). In a further chapter the faculties (natural sciences, economics, etc.) are compared. You will also receive a management summary for your institution.
Objective
The St.Gallen Diversity Benchmarking for Institutions of Higher Education creates transparency and a basis for comparison between the institutions. It thus provides a solid data basis for action.
