The HSG Diversity Benchmarking was developed as part of the programme "Equal Opportunities and Institutions of Higher Education Development" and is financially supported by the Swiss government.
The HSG Diversity Benchmarking is a product of the University of St.Gallen and is financially supported by Swissuniversities
Target Group
The Benchmarking is aimed at universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education in Switzerland.
Your advantages
The HSG Diversity Benchmarking for institutions of higher education analyses the following diversity dimensions:
- Gender
- Age
- Nationality
The analysis will provide you with a clear definition of your current D&I standing as a prerequisite for the implementation of equal opportunities. In comparison with other institutions of higher education, strengths and weaknesses become visible. In the process, comparisons are made within your own type of higher education institution, but also between different types of higher education institutions. The identified need for action and corresponding recommendations enable you to take concrete measures. With your commitment, you also serve as a role model for your students, who will carry the topic forward in their future endeavors (companies, further education, etc.).
Outcomes
You will receive a report that compares you with all the institutions of higher education. The individual organisations remain anonymous. You will also receive a management summary in which your individual results are interpreted and concrete recommendations for action are derived based on them. In a further chapter the faculties (natural sciences, economics, etc.) are compared. You will also receive a management summary for your institution.
Objective
The HSG Diversity Benchmarking for Institutions of Higher Education creates transparency and a basis for comparison between the institutions. It thus provides a solid data basis for action.
Relevant for action
You receive practice-oriented recommendations for action from the recruitment to the promotion of young talent. These enable you to derive concrete measures for your institution.
